As the premier anti-doping research organization, the PCC has a responsibility to bring researchers, anti-doping experts, and industry leaders together for collective discussion and collaboration with like-minded individuals. The PCC’s 2017 conference was held April 11 and 12 at MLB headquarters in New York City and highlighted the impact of anti-doping science “beyond research.”

The 2017 conference featured presentations, demonstrations, and panels which examined a wide range of proven and novel concepts, including anti-doping breath testing, dried blood and dried plasma spot (DBS/DPS) testing, and additional next generation technologies.

The conference also featured guest speakers discussing the influence of contemporary anti-doping scandals on the anti-doping research community, as well as the athlete’s perspective on the anti-doping movement.

We’d like to thank those of you that joined us in New York City for the Partnership for Clean Competition’s biennial conference on April 11-12, 2017. We have received great feedback from that conference and look forward to bringing the anti-doping community together again in 2019 (or sooner!).
